Zhejiang Xingneng Machinery manufactures valves for bulk solids handling — the equipment that sits between a silo and a process, or on a tanker, or at a conveying line junction, and decides whether product flows, and how much. It is a focused product programme rather than a general valve catalogue, and that focus is deliberate.

Valves for powder, granules and slurry face conditions that a general-purpose valve catalogue does not address. The product is abrasive and does not lubricate the sealing surfaces. It can arch, bridge, cake and flood. Air-conveyed lines impose pressure that a valve must seal against in both directions. Cleanliness and containment matter in food and pharmaceutical plants.

Designing for those conditions produces recognisable choices: elastomer sleeves instead of metal seats; concentric apertures instead of letterbox openings; seals that make contact without sliding across an abrasive interface; bodies with no cavity where product can accumulate. Each of our product families exists because one of those problems needed a specific answer.

We separate two questions that are often confused. The body carries structural load and resists corrosion — aluminium where weight matters, stainless where hygiene or chemistry demands it. The wearing element — the sleeve, the seat, the blades — decides service life.

In a pinch valve the wearing element is the sleeve. We supply sleeves in natural rubber for abrasive duty and in food-grade EPDM for food and pharmaceutical contact. We do not offer other compounds as standard for pinch sleeves, and we will say so rather than promise a material we cannot support.

Our valves carry a 12-month warranty on the valve body; elastomer wear parts — sleeves, seats and seals — are excluded, which is standard practice across the industry. The value of a well-designed wearing element is that its replacement becomes predictable rather than surprising.

Our diverter valve range holds an Attestation of Conformity to the EU Machinery Regulation (EU) 2023/1230, issued by a notified body and verifiable at the issuer's website. The regulation replaces the earlier Machinery Directive, and it applies from 20 January 2027 with the previous directive ceasing to apply from 19 January 2027 and no parallel transition period — a point worth noting for anyone with equipment planned across that date. The attestation covers the stainless and aluminium diverter families; a design change invalidates it.
